South Burlington Police Department Open for Business

The South Burlington Police Department opened for business at 6:30 am on Wednesday May 12th when their telephone service and dispatch center lines were switched over to their new location at 19 Gregory Drive.  R.E.M. Development completed all the fit-up for the station on budget and a month before the initial deadline.  

The officers now have locker rooms to store their uniforms and shower facilities which were not available at the previous station.  Victims will no longer have to share space with suspects and suspects will no longer be within easy reach of weapons and evidence storage. 

Needless to say, there are many happy police officers patrolling the streets of South Burlington these days.
