Champlain College Lakeside Avenue

R.E.M. Development company bought the former Casella Waste Management property at 175 Lakeside Avenue in  Burlington and built a new 36,000 Square Foot Building for Champlain College.  The ownership was transferred and partially gifted to Champlain College by R.E.M. Development upon completion of the building.  

The project was completed in 7 months from silt fence installation to occupancy.  Liza Kilcoyne and Kelley Desroches of Gardener Kilcoyne Architects designed the space.  175 Lakeside Avenue is currently housing eight of Champlain College's administrative departments and its Emergent Media Center will be relocated to the building later in the year.
